Product Overview

The new Falcon 4620 is the first in a series of high performance, extremely rugged

Windows vehicle mount computers. Designed for the harshest environments of the

warehouse or loading dock, the Falcon 4620 features your choice of the latest

Microsoft Windows operating systems coupled with a powerful 800 Mhz processor.

PSC’s radio independent support means you have a choice of 2.4Ghz 802.11b radios

including Cisco Aironet, Lucent/Proxim Orinoco, and Symbol Spectrum24 HR. The

Falcon 4620 is designed for warehousing and distribution applications where a rugged

Windows vehicle mount computer is required.

• Compact Form Factor Takes Similar Space as 10” Models

• Powerful 800Mhz Processor (Standard)

• Operates in –30C Freezers without a Heater

• Internal DC Power Supply (9-36VDC)

• Rugged Milled Aluminum Enclosure

• Choice of Tethered or Virtual Keyboards (optional)

Software

The Falcon 4620 ships with a choice of Microsoft Windows operating systems including:

• Embedded Windows XP (standard)

• Windows XP Professional

• Windows 2000

PSC also offers our PowerNet terminal emulation software for the Falcon 4620. PowerNet includes

support for VT100/220 and IBM 5250 & 3270 emulations. Be sure to specify PowerNet v7.0 or

higher to support the Falcon 4620 (available late July 2003).
