Let’s find the shortcut for XFER32. –this is the program that is used to retrieve data from the

PT40. Once we find the shortcut we want to RIGHT (not left) click it.

Click >Start >Programs >XFER32 >

When you see the shortcut icon just right click it and then click Properties.

The XFER32 Properties dialog pops up:

Click on Find Target

Windows Explorer will open and the current folder will be c:\PDTfiles.

This folder was created during the previous program installation process.

In Windows Explorer Click >File >New >Folder

Type in PTDATA for the new folder name.

You should have a folder structure like this c:\PDTfiles\PTData

Close all open Windows by clicking >File >Close in each one.
